Gold and Silver Up In Domestic Market

Gold prices rose by Rs 74 to Rs 26,696 per 10 grams in futures trading today as speculators enlarged positions. At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for delivery in December was trading higher by Rs 74 or 0.26 percent to Rs 26,696 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 256 lots.

MCX SILVER December contract was trading at Rs 37178 up Rs 345, or 0.94 percent. The SILVER rate touched an intraday high of Rs 37197 and an intraday low of Rs 36870. So far 3380 contracts have been traded. SILVER prices have moved down Rs 1942, or 4.96 percent in the December series so far.
